Day 1: This morning our flight takes us to Boston then on to the beautiful Cape Cod of Massachusetts. We check in for our 4-night stay on “The Cape”. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner. (D)

Day 2: The day begins with a ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard, a picturesque island oasis, where miles of pristine coastline meet rolling hills, wildflower fields, and charming towns, offering a serene escape with a captivating blend of natural beauty and historic charm, all wrapped in a peaceful New England ambiance. The island is known for its beaches, historic villages, and natural beauty. After we dock, we take a shuttle with narration that will take us to Edgartown. You will have time to shop and dine in this quaint town. There will also be time to explore the village of Oak Bluff. Then we will catch the ferry back to Hyannis. (B)

Day 3: A local guide will take us through the area and give us insight into the Cape and its history. This is followed by a visit to the JFK Museum to learn about the legacy of President Kennedy and his deep connection to Cape Cod where he enjoyed special days with family and friends. The Cape was the one place he could relax and feel at home, even while bearing the weight of the world. Learn why Hyannis Port was considered the “heart and home” of the Kennedys then and now. Hop on the Cape Cod Central Train and relish in the midday escape of a relaxing train ride. Everyone is sure to enjoy this delightful journey that pairs a luncheon meal with views of the coastal landscape, salt marshes, and woodlands. This afternoon we board the Bay Spirit for a Lighthouse Harbor Tour. This narrated cruise passes Hyannis's inner harbor lighthouse and a lighthouse on Great Island (weather dependent) as well as viewing some navigational towers. We also cruise through the old Hyannis Harbor where we see local homes, including the Kennedy Compound. (B, L, D)

Day 4: The Pilgrim Monument was built to commemorate the first landing of the Mayflower Pilgrims in Provincetown. It remains the tallest all-granite structure in the United States. After the museum, we will have time to explore Provincetown, also known as P-Town located forty miles out to sea at the tip of Cape Cod. Unlike many other whale watches, Dolphin Fleet offers a wide spectrum of educational tools that go beyond the “average whale watch”. This trip is designed to enhance our awareness of whales, marine life, and the marine habitat that surrounds us. After a full day in “P-Town”, we return to our hotel. (B)

Day 5: We will experience history in a new light at Plimoth Patuxet. The world-renowned living history museum boasts ocean views, sweeping historic landscapes, and the newly-restored Mayflower II docked downtown in Plymouth Harbor. A day of fresh air, fun, and learning awaits you. As we experience the life of a Pilgrim we will also dine like a Pilgrim. If there were no forks in the 17th century, what did the Pilgrims use? To wrap up the journey we will head back to the airport with lots of stories swirling through our heads and head back to Yoder. (B, L)
