Day 1: As we board the coach, we eagerly await to see some of the natural beauty our country has to offer. Tonight we enjoy Dove Creek Ranch & Equine Rescue. They serve us dinner at the ranch before a guided tour of the horses they rescue. We might get to see some horses released into the herd. (D)

Day 2: This morning we have a tour at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. Nestled in the rolling hills, the ranch is a residential community open to at-risk children. After lunch, we head to the Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian for an authentic dance performance. We also visit the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum. Relive the stories of courage and hardship, victory and defeat over the past 14,000 years. Step back to the Old West in a life-size Pioneer Town. This evening, we descend to the floor of the Palo Duro Canyon which becomes the backdrop for the “TEXAS” Musical. After our meal, we enjoy the open-air theater for the impressive outdoor musical drama. A lone horseman, carrying the flag of the great state of Texas, appears atop a 600-foot cliff, signaling the beginning of the musical. With a moving swell of the music, the horseman gallops away. Suddenly, a cast of more than 60 actors, singers, and dancers takes the stage to kick off the show. What an amazing show! Back to the hotel for a night's rest. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Today a step-on guide joins us for a city tour of Amarillo. The tour also includes a visit to the Route 66 Historical District. After an early lunch, it’s time to head back to familiar land. We make one last stop in Greensburg at the Kiowa County Historical Museum and Soda Fountain. Step back in time as you view a collection of artifacts from the region. We are in for a treat as we enjoy supper at the renovated Hunter Drugstore Soda Fountain, a fully functioning fountain built in 1951. (B, D)
